Phoenix Industries (PI) announced today the signing of a contract to provide the equipment for a waste tire recycling facility being established in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Under this contract PI will manufacture and deliver their Model PI3000 processing line.
This line of heavy-duty, all American made equipment processes whole used car and truck tires into a metal and fiber free crumb rubber at a rate of up to 3 tons per hour. This crumb rubber can be used in a wide variety of value added products such as molded rubber goods, rubberized asphalt and in sport field installations.
